Dre Gergana Hristova
Ever since I was a little girl (and like most of my peers) I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. Originally from Bulgaria, I was surrounded by animals both in the family home and in my grandparents’ small village.
I graduated in 2001 from Sofia University and one year later I moved to Lebanon to be with my husband. I spent 6 years at the Veterinary Medicine Center, where I loved every moment. But after the 2006 war in Beirut, my husband and I decided to move to a more stable country like Canada.
Once we arrived, I worked as a technician for three and a half years while I prepared for the College of Veterinary Medicine exam. In 2012, I obtained my diploma.
Since then, I have worked in several clinics and emergency centers until finally, I was able to realize my dream: to setup my own clinic and gather a dream team.
I am passionate about veterinary medicine and all its aspects; I was born to do this.”
